Operation Walk Maryland is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 which provides free joint replacement surgery and care to individuals in need in impoverished and underdeveloped areas around the globe as well as educating local orthopedic surgeons and their teams about current treatments and technologies. All work performed by Operation Walk Maryland is volunteer based and all supplies for their operations are donated through sponsorship. Operation Walk Maryland has already assisted individuals in Cuba, China, the Philippines, Nepal, Nicaragua, Gautemala, Panama, El Salvador and the United States.

ShuBee is proud to support Operation Walk Maryland in this venture by providing shoe covers and gloves to the operating staff which will be embarking on their next mission this October to Lima, Peru to assist more than 70 patients by perform free knee and hip replacement surgery to those who otherwise would not be able to afford the procedure.
